• FamilySeach.org – This site is provided as a free service by “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”  Not all of its vast records have been digitized for viewing online, but many have been.
  • The USGenWeb Project – A massive undertaking of free U.S. genealogical/historical records.  There is alot to explore here, but its real value is in its records on the county level, many not available elsewhere (except by visiting the actual county).  From the site’s homepage, select a state on the left, then find that state’s county list. Since the project is strictly voluntary, the quality and content of the county sites varies.  Also, many of the records are transcripts or abstracts, which means you should be cautious of the accuracy of any record of this type.
  • Find A Grave – The name says it all.  Find a grave, find a cemetery – many with photos.
  • FREE Trials – Check out our Special Offers for free trials offered by some of the paid sites – gather up all your family questions and sign up for the trial period.
